Freeze – Video Content Search Engine

Best Project of Fall 2024

One of my most exciting projects, Freeze, is a video content search engine designed to revolutionize how users analyze and interact with video data. By combining advanced technologies like PySceneDetect, YOLOv8, and PostgreSQL, Freeze enables efficient scene and object detection, making video analysis faster, more accurate, and more accessible.

Key Features:

  • High Efficiency: Processes a 20-minute full HD video in under 3 minutes.
  • Advanced Technology: Integrates scene detection and object recognition using state-of-the-art tools.
  • User-Friendly: Features an intuitive interface built with Streamlit for seamless interaction.
  • Wide Applications: Designed for content creators, archivists, researchers, and more.

Recognition:

Freeze was awarded Best Project of Fall 2024 at the University of the Pacific and featured in the School of Engineering and Computer Science Exhibition.
